Numerous scholarly articles highlight the importance of the ideal ESS placement and sizing for various power grid applications, such as microgrids, distribution networks, generating, and transmission [167, 168].
Nonetheless, in order to achieve green energy transition and mitigate climate risks resulting from the use of fossil-based fuels, robust energy storage systems are necessary.
