How to connect solar panels to multiple power storage containers

Select a suitable location: The combiner box should be installed close to the solar array to minimize voltage drop. Secure the combiner box: Use mounting brackets or screws to securely attach the box to a sturdy surface, ensuring it is weatherproof and easily accessible.

For example, six 100 W solar panels with 18V and 5.5 A each can be connected in series. A total of 108V (18V X 6) can be acquired by a current of 5.5 A. This kind of configuration will be good for grid-tied systems with high voltage inverters. Connecting solar panels in parallel raises the current but keeps the voltage constant.
