IGBT (Insulated-Gate Bipolar Transistor) can be applied to the control gate driver to control the turn on and off. An IGBT rectifier has a switching frequency usually in the tens of kHz to several kHz or even up to hundreds of kHz, much higher than that of a frequency inverter, hence the term 'high-frequency inverter'.
