China added 357.3 GW—nearly 60 percent of the global total—surpassing 1 TW of cumulative capacity and accounting for nearly half the world's installed PV capacity by year-end. Renewable hydropower1 and wind energy accounted for most of the remainder, with total capacities of 1 283 GW and 1 133 GW, respectively.
